Kampung Meno Bungalows which means Village in Indonesian was designed by me to create a Family feel atmosphere. Since opening (2015), we have become known for the local delights served in our restaurant and the service and friendliness of the staff and Owner. Located on west side of the island where the sun sets, surrounded by nature, the ocean and a local village. See baby goats, cows, chickens and hear sounds of local children playing, birds singing and the waves hitting the shores at night.
Kampung Meno Bungalows consists of 7 bungalows including one Family House with 2 bedrooms and is in a lush tropical garden with a swimming pool. The rooms are all air-conditioned and equipped with mosquito net, drinking water and beach towels, except for one which is Fan only. All have an independent bathroom with hot water and WC.
Free WI-FI of good quality (Optical Fibre) is available all inside bungalows areas.
A full menu is available offering you Indonesian Culinary Delights as well as international cuisine. A bar and cold drinks are also available in the dining room.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 10am in the dining room.
A shop offering tourist souvenirs and clothes is also available at reception.
You can relax or cool off at the pool and find something to read in our library next to the dining room.
We also have bicycles and snorkel equipment for hire.

Set between Gili Air and Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno arguably offers the finest beaches of all Gili Islands.
The sands are white and soft beneath your feet, and you can relax on vacant stretches of beach lined with Coconut trees. Meno is the real escape to Paradise, where you can fill your days with activities including walking, bike riding, horse riding, Yoga, swimming, snorkelling and diving or just taking in the tranquil views to Lombok whilst having a relaxing massage.
The island is small enough to walk around in one and half hours. Do a coastal walk around the beaches, stop for a cold drink and a swim as you make your way around. Take a bicycle and ride through the centre island, see the salt lake meet the friendly locals and the animals that roam freely around the island: goats, cows, chickens and cats. Unique to these islands is that no motorised vehicles are allowed which ensures our peaceful surroundings. Horse Carts - Cidomo - are always available for transporting your luggage or if you are tired.
They say a smile is worth a thousand words and the Local Sasak Community have the warmest welcoming smile you will never forget. The Village population of 600 people is located in the centre of the island, ride bikes lazily through the island centre to view village life.
Snorkeling and or diving in Gili Meno is spectacular, it is rich with beautiful tropical fish and colourful coral gardens, and you will be guaranteed of seeing our beautiful turtles. You can hire a glass bottom boat and snorkel around the three islands or snorkel by yourselves straight off the beach.
The evenings will spoil you with perfect sunsets which you can enjoy alone or call in to one of the beach bars and be serenaded with our local Brotherhood band and enjoy a cold beer or cocktail. Not all accommodations have a restaurant. But there is enough choices around the island, be it a local Warung or a Restaurant in the resorts.
The island is a treasure of local lifestyle where time seems to bend, and life slows down. Gili Meno is an island of sweet simplicity and nature where you will sigh with happiness.

- Do not shake hands with your left hand. Do not touch locals on the head. Do not point with your foot.

You can access the Gili Islands from Lombok or Bali as your main point of entry.
From Bali airport, make your way to Padang Bai or Serangan, and catch a fast boat to Gili Islands. Be sure to check the boat schedule which changes during low and high season, with us. Only the Ekajaya comes direct to Gili Meno daily. You can also easily transfer from Gili Trawangan or Gili Air.
From Lombok Airport make your way to Bangsal Harbour by taxi or contact us to organise a private car and driver. Hop onto a public boat or a speed boat service to transfer to our island. The public boat cost is IDR 25,000 and runs 3 times a day or public speed boat is IDR 85,000 and runs every hour.
If you are on a tight budget, there is a public ferry that departs from Padang Bai, Bali and arrives at the port of Lembar, 22km south of Mataram, Lombok. The ferry takes 4-5 hours and leaves every 90 minutes or so, 24 hours a day. Once you are in Lembar take local transport or a private car to Bangsal.
From Gili Trawangan or Gili Air you can catch the island hopper for IDR 45,000 that runs twice a day or a public speed boat for IDR 85,000 that runs every hour.
Dive a shipwreck, swim with the local turtles, the best snorkeling and diving can be found on Gili Meno. You can find experienced dive companies offering daily dives and dive courses for all levels. You can walk off the beach and snorkel along the submarine Meno Wall to see spectacular marine life.
Gili Meno boasts some exceptional yoga experiences whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner. Daily classes and regular yoga retreats attract many people to our little island paradise. All classes are taught by experienced instructors.
Ride a horse on the beach at sunset or sunrise.
Pamper yourself with a massage on the beach or if you would prefer one in house.
My name is Sylvie Lo Monaco, I am French born and lived in Australia most of my life.
